This is a superb package to suit either the Nihonto or Militaria collector.
Mumei Shinshinto Katana attributed by the NTHK to Hosakawa Masachika. 69.3 cm or 27 ½ “ Nagasa with Bo Hi (Groove) Suguha Hamon and Mokume hada. No Flaws only some rust stains and scratches.
The blade is mounted in shingunto combat mounts that show the signs of having been carried daily by the former Japanese Owner throughout his military service in the pacific war. The mounts include original leather saya combat cover, leather tsuka combat cover, company grade tassel, and leather sword hanger.
