Showa Period Katana
Tadatsuna
This looks to be a traditionally made katana by Tadatsuna. The nakago is in great condition with a very well cut Mei however the blade needs a polish. It is difficult to see a lot in the blade because of its present condition, however if you look through the scratched surface, one can see what looks like a nice active Midare or Choji/Midare hamon. The length of the blade is approx. 62.5 cm or 24 ¾ inches and its mounted in its original gunto koshirae.
