Rare Showa Period Wakizashi

This is a Rare showa period wakizashi mounted in shingunto koshirae. Possibly use by a pilot in the Army Air Corp. The blade measures approx 57cm or 22 ½ inches and has a Bohi (Wide Groove) on both sides. Noshu Seki Ju Hatori Masahiro Saku. Typical showa gunome style hamon. The blade has been cleaned however there are no flaws. The shingunto mounts are in nice condition with no damage. Good quality Sarute with a Company grade Officers Tassel. I have priced this as a showato however the new owner can be the judge. A Great Package for the price.
