Shingunto Saya
This katana saya is a Kyugunto type that has been remounted for use with a Shingunto for WW2 . The saya is a standard chrome plated kyugunto type that has had a shingunto style leather combat cover and retention strap added for use with a shingunto style tsuba and tsuka.  Over the years, I have seen a few gunto mounted like this.
This particular saya and retention strap are in excellent condition.
